Continuing past the lake for another 5 minutes would take you to the Beeline Highway, the shortest route to Payson, the rim and White Mountains, South on the 202 takes you past more shopping possibilities at the Chandler Fashion Center. Just past the center, going west on the San Tan Freeway (the south loop of the 202) to the 60 makes for a quick trip to Tucson and southern Arizona.
