North from Augusta Ranch on the 202 takes you to the Red Mountain Freeway (northern portion of the 202 loop) where, going west you’ll find major shopping in the newly developed Tempe Marketplace. If you had exited at McDowell and gone north on Power, you would be at Saguaro Lake within 25 minutes. Continuing past the lake for another 5 minutes would take you to the Beeline Highway, the shortest route to Payson, the rim and White Mountains, South on the 202 takes you past more shopping possibilities at the Chandler Fashion Center. Just past the center, going west on the San Tan Freeway (the south loop of the 202) to the 60 makes for a quick trip to Tucson and southern Arizona.
